HighLevel updates: week of October 26, 2026
Heads up: the trial buttons on this page use my affiliate link. If you sign up through it I get a commission. It doesn't cost you more.
HighLevel shipped 118 updates between October 26 and October 31. The two that matter most for agencies: Conversation AI agents can now start the conversation (from a trigger, or as a database reactivation campaign from the Contacts page), and SaaS Usage Limits let you cap a client's Voice AI and Conversation AI usage and charge them when they need more. Both are in Labs.
After those, look at Hosted Numbers (texting from a client's existing number), the Agency Trust Center for A2P, and Router and Loop in workflows. The big items are written out in full near the top. The smaller ones further down get a line or two each. A lot of the AI is billed per run, so read the cost line before you turn it on for a client.
Everything below is from HighLevel's changelog, linked on each item, so you can check it yourself.
Short version
- 01Conversation AI agents can text a lead first when a form, lead ad, missed call, tag or pipeline move fires, and can run database reactivation campaigns from the Contacts page (Labs).
- 02SaaS Usage Limits cap each client's Voice AI and Conversation AI usage, and clients can ask you for more (Labs, Pro agencies).

01 / Conversation AI / Oct 27
Outbound AI agents with triggers
A Conversation AI agent can now message a contact first. Triggers live inside the agent under Deploy, Outbound, Triggers: form submitted, Facebook, Instagram, Google or TikTok lead form, contact created, tag added, appointment booked or confirmed, opportunity created or moved, and missed call. The agent writes a personalised first message, sends up to 5 follow-ups when the contact goes quiet, and holds messages that fire outside its working hours until the next opening. Messages go out over SMS, Do Not Disturb contacts are skipped and an AI disclaimer is added to every first message. It's in Labs under Conversation AI, Outbound AI Agents.
What it means for you: Speed to lead and missed call text back, run by the agent itself with no workflow to build. Turn it on for one client and test it on your own number before you add more triggers. My Conversation AI setup is in Train Conversation AI.
HighLevel changelog ↗02 / Conversation AI / Oct 27
Conversation AI Campaigns: database reactivation
Go to Contacts, AI Campaign, pick an audience and an agent, and the agent texts every contact a first message written from that contact's past interactions. Ready-made audiences include contacts who engaged, uncontacted new leads, open opportunities with no activity and lost opportunities, over 7, 15 or 30 days, or you can use any Smart List. Send now, at a set time, or in drip mode in batches. Replies go to the same agent, which can book the appointment. Same Labs switch as outbound triggers.
What it means for you: Database reactivation is a service a lot of agencies already sell to local businesses, and this builds it into HighLevel. Use drip mode on old lists so the whole list doesn't go out in one go.
HighLevel changelog ↗03 / SaaS / Oct 30
SaaS Usage Limits
Set a usage limit for each SaaS client and decide what happens when they reach it: bill them for the extra usage or stop the action. It starts with Voice AI and Conversation AI. Clients see their usage on their billing page, and if they can't upgrade their plan they can request a higher limit, which you approve or reject from Manage Client. You can add limits as a step when you onboard a client with rebilling. Available to Pro agencies through Labs.
What it means for you: This is the guardrail for rebilled AI. A client's voice agent can't quietly run up a bill you only find out about at month end. How HighLevel bills usage is in Usage fees.
HighLevel changelog ↗04 / Phone / Oct 30
Hosted Numbers: text from a number you already have
In Labs for eligible accounts. An agency owner or admin can host a client's existing US local number for SMS in HighLevel, while voice calls stay with the current carrier. The guided setup checks eligibility, verifies ownership with an automated call, sends an authorization letter for e-signature and tracks the request. The number is ready to text once identity verification (where required), A2P registration and sender setup are done, and an approved A2P registration already on the location is reused. Start from Settings, Phone System, Manage Numbers, Add Number, Host a Number.
What it means for you: The client who won't give up the number on their trucks and business cards can now text from it in HighLevel without porting it (see Use your own phone number).
HighLevel changelog ↗05 / Phone / Oct 28
Agency Trust Center for A2P
One dashboard in Agency View for every sub-account's A2P 10DLC registrations: approved, in review and rejected, with rejection reasons. You can fix and resubmit eligible rejected brands and campaigns, and start a new brand registration for a sub-account, without switching into it. Turn on the Agency A2P console in Labs, then go to Settings, Phone Integration, Trust Center (A2P). Founder's plan only, for agency owners and admins.
What it means for you: If you run A2P for a lot of clients, this replaces logging into each sub-account to see why a campaign got rejected (see A2P 10DLC registration).
HighLevel changelog ↗06 / Workflows / Oct 29
Router: new workflow action
If/Else sends a contact into the first branch that matches and skips the rest. Router checks every branch and runs each one that matches, left to right. Branches can be custom rules, always run, or a fallback that only runs when nothing else matched.
What it means for you: If you've ever duplicated a workflow because a lead matched two conditions (say, a new lead who is also a past customer), this replaces that.
HighLevel changelog ↗07 / Workflows / Oct 29
Loop: new workflow action
Loop runs the actions inside it once for each item in a list, or once for each number in a range. Sequential by default, with a parallel mode. The Test tab shows every iteration.
What it means for you: One inbound webhook with three line items can now create three opportunities, with no code and no Make or Zapier in the middle.
HighLevel changelog ↗08 / Conversation AI / Oct 27
Claude and Gemini models in Conversation AI
Conversation AI agents can now run on Claude Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, Haiku 5.5 and Haiku 4.5, or Gemini 3.8 Flash, 3.7 Flash and 3.5 Flash Lite, from the same Model menu as GPT. The menu shows a relative cost rating for each model. You can pick a secondary model from another provider that takes over if the primary is down. In Labs under Conversations AI, Claude & Gemini Model Support.
What it means for you: Use a cheaper model for simple, high-volume replies and a top one for sales chats. HighLevel says GPT 5 and GPT 5 Mini retire on Oct 30, so move any client agents still on them.
HighLevel changelog ↗09 / Conversation AI / Oct 27
MCP servers in Conversation AI
Connect up to 5 MCP servers to a Conversation AI agent: 40+ from the Marketplace (Google Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Docs, Canva, Zapier, Apify and more) or your own by URL. You choose which tools the agent may use and write when it should use each server. In Labs.
What it means for you: The agent can answer from a client's real price sheet or calendar mid-chat. Untick any tool that can delete or change things.
HighLevel changelog ↗10 / Agent Studio / Oct 28
Computer for Managed Agents
Managed Agents can now browse websites, fill in forms, create and edit files and run Python. Each agent gets its own computer and can run 8 to 10 browser chats in parallel. Logins are stored in HighLevel Keychain, and payments, sending messages, form submits and file deletes need your approval. It works in chat and manual runs, not automation-triggered runs. Turn it on under the agent's Capabilities in Agent Studio.
What it means for you: Good for research and reporting jobs, like pulling competitor prices into a spreadsheet for a client.
HighLevel changelog ↗11 / Agent Studio / Oct 28
Subagents in Managed Agents
A Managed Agent can split a big job into smaller tasks, hand each to a subagent with only the tools it needs, and run independent tasks in parallel. View subagent activity shows what each one did.
What it means for you: Longer jobs, like a weekly sweep of stalled opportunities, should finish faster.
Cost: Subagent usage is included in the parent agent's run billing.
HighLevel changelog ↗12 / Agent Studio / Oct 28
Import n8n workflows into Managed Agents
In beta. Upload an n8n workflow export (.json) and HighLevel converts it into a Managed Agent, mapping triggers, IF and Switch nodes, Wait nodes, AI steps and app connections. Before you publish, it shows which steps were carried over, adapted or not possible.
What it means for you: If you built client automations in n8n, this is a way to move them into HighLevel without rebuilding by hand. Check the not possible list.
HighLevel changelog ↗13 / Email / Oct 27
Email Domain Warm-Up for LC Email
In beta. HighLevel creates warm-up mailboxes on your dedicated sending domain and ramps daily volume toward a goal you choose, with real-looking threaded replies. Your contacts never get warm-up emails. Each domain gets a health score from 0 to 100 and a report with SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX status. Agency and sub-account domains both work. Request access with the beta form, then go to Settings, Email Services, Dedicated Domain and IP.
What it means for you: One less outside tool for a client's new sending domain (see Emails going to spam).
Cost: Free during the beta, per the entry.
HighLevel changelog ↗14 / Reputation / Oct 26
Manage Reviews AI in bulk from Agency view
From Agency, AI Suite, AI Setup, set Reviews AI to Off, Suggestive or Auto responses for one or many sub-accounts at once. Changes a sub-account makes show up in the agency view.
What it means for you: Rolling review replies out to every client is one screen now.
HighLevel changelog ↗15 / Reputation / Oct 26
Reviews AI agents: brand voice and guardrails
New controls for how each Reviews AI agent sounds (we or I, tone, length, sign-off), guardrails against repeated openers and risky language like refund promises or fault admissions, an option to hold sensitive reviews for a person, and a live preview.
What it means for you: Turn on the sensitive review hold before you put a client on Auto responses.
HighLevel changelog ↗16 / Reputation / Oct 26
Reputation widgets on location dashboards
16 new dashboard widgets for review requests, reviews and response rate and time.
What it means for you: A reputation view you can build into a client's dashboard.
HighLevel changelog ↗17 / Client Portal / Oct 28
Client App Builder: branded mobile apps with AI
In Labs. Describe the app and AI builds the screens, using your brand board, and connects your courses, communities, files, appointments and member accounts. Sign-in and join codes are built in, and you can publish an installable Android app.
What it means for you: A branded app for a client's members without a developer. Android only, per the entry.
HighLevel changelog ↗18 / Client Portal / Oct 28
Vibe Coding for the Client Portal
Build Client Portal pages by describing them, then refine by chatting or by clicking elements in the preview. Works with your existing portal data and custom domains. In Labs through Client App Builder.
What it means for you: Custom portal pages without code.
HighLevel changelog ↗19 / Client Portal / Oct 28
Custom Objects in Client App Builder
Portal members can submit records, like service requests or applications, that save as Custom Object records in the CRM. AI proposes the objects and pages for you to approve. In Labs.
What it means for you: A client portal that feeds the CRM directly.
HighLevel changelog ↗20 / Workflows / Oct 27
Workflow Maps
A visual map, generated from your existing workflows, that shows folders, workflows and the tags, forms, calendars, pipelines and fields that connect them. Search it, and use Cleanup to find workflows with default names, no recent enrollments or empty folders. Automation, Workflows, Workflow Maps. Agency users and admins only at launch.
What it means for you: Handy when you take over a messy sub-account and need to see what triggers what.
HighLevel changelog ↗21 / Workflows / Oct 27
Workflow Maps: find workflow errors

HighLevel changelog ↗24 / Workflows / Oct 27

A guided intro, walkthroughs and a Resources hub inside Workflow Maps.
What it means for you: Useful for showing a teammate around.
HighLevel changelog ↗26 / AI / Oct 28
Workflows in the LeadConnector MCP server
In private beta. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI tools can now find, read, build, publish and delete workflows, and read execution logs and stats, through HighLevel's MCP server.
What it means for you: Asking your AI assistant "which steps in New Lead Nurture failed this week, and for who?" beats reading execution logs by hand.
HighLevel changelog ↗27 / Workflows / Oct 28
Workflows API
In private beta. Create, read, update, validate, publish and delete workflows from your own code, and read execution logs and step stats.
What it means for you: Roll the same workflow out to many sub-accounts without rebuilding it by hand.
HighLevel changelog ↗28 / AI / Oct 29
Web search in the AI Agent action
A new Built-in tools section in the AI Agent action. Turn on Web search and the agent looks things up mid-run when it needs to. You can also paste URLs into the instructions so it reads the pages you trust.
What it means for you: Handy for agents answering questions about things that change, like rebates, prices or opening hours.
Cost: Billed per search on top of the AI Agent action: 1 cent on OpenAI and Claude models, 1.4 cents on Gemini.
HighLevel changelog ↗29 / AI / Oct 29
Skills in the AI Agent action
Skills are reusable instructions the agent only loads when a run needs them. You write one once and attach it to any AI Agent action. Every account gets four built-in ones: Humanizer, Write-well, Cold-email and Sms-writer.
What it means for you: If you're pasting the same tone and rules into every agent prompt, put them in a skill instead and change them in one place.
HighLevel changelog ↗30 / AI / Oct 27
Shareable chat page for the AI Agent action
An AI Agent action can get its own hosted chat page with a shareable link. Visitors sign in with their email and a one-time code, and the email has to belong to an existing contact. You see every chat, the tools called and the tokens used.
What it means for you: A members-only assistant for a client's customers, with no website or widget.
Cost: Each visitor reply is billed like an AI Agent execution in your workflow.
HighLevel changelog ↗31 / Workflows / Oct 27
A/B Test workflow action
Split contacts evenly across 2 to 10 paths, pick a goal (email activity, appointment status, a tag, a payment or a custom condition) and when the test ends. Then send new contacts to the winner.
What it means for you: Test two follow-up sequences for a client and keep the one that books more.
HighLevel changelog ↗32 / Workflows / Oct 27
Test triggers and actions with real events
In Labs. Listen for a real event on a trigger, test one action at a time and see its output, or run the whole workflow step by step. Past test runs are kept with a retry button.
What it means for you: Testing now works for workflows that don't start from a contact, like webhooks.
HighLevel changelog ↗33 / Workflows / Oct 29
Test workflows inside AI Builder
After AI Builder builds or edits a workflow, its reply ends with a Test workflow button. The test runs for real, each step reports on the canvas, and AI Builder writes a summary of what ran, what got skipped and what errored. It's behind a toggle in HighLevel Labs for now.
What it means for you: The test runs the real steps, so tags get added and messages get sent. Use a test contact, not a client's real lead.
HighLevel changelog ↗34 / Workflows / Oct 27
AI Builder fills in your account data
Name the form, pipeline, snippet, tag or user in your prompt and AI Builder finds it in the account and sets up the step with it.
What it means for you: Less clicking through each step after an AI build.
HighLevel changelog ↗35 / Phone / Oct 27
Voice Intelligence for calls
In Labs. After each recorded call: a summary, contact details ready to save, a call outcome picked from your list, and a score out of 10 with a coaching tip. Nothing changes on a contact until someone approves it. Works on LeadConnector numbers.
What it means for you: Call notes and QA scoring for a client's sales team without listening to every call.
Cost: No extra charge beyond your usual call transcription, per the entry.
HighLevel changelog ↗36 / Conversation AI / Oct 27
Build a Conversation AI agent by describing it
In Labs. Describe the agent and Build with AI sets up the triggers, channels, booking and hand-off actions, knowledge base and prompt, then you change it by chatting.

HighLevel changelog ↗37 / Conversation AI / Oct 27
Rich elements in Conversation AI replies
Agents can reply with quick replies, lists, link buttons, images and files on WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and Live Chat. Other channels get the same content as plain text.
What it means for you: Booking buttons on WhatsApp and live chat instead of "reply 1 for...".
HighLevel changelog ↗38 / Conversation AI / Oct 27
Test Conversation AI agents per channel, and test outbound

What it means for you: Check outbound openers before they reach a client's leads.
HighLevel changelog ↗39 / Conversation AI / Oct 27
Conversation AI books in the contact's time zone

HighLevel changelog ↗40 / Conversation AI / Oct 27
Conversation AI can fill dropdowns, checkboxes and radio fields

FAQ
Where does HighLevel post its updates?
On its changelog at ideas.gohighlevel.com/changelog, which also has an RSS feed. This roundup links every item back to its changelog entry.
Do the new AI features cost extra?
Some do. Web search in the AI Agent action is 1 cent a search on OpenAI and Claude models and 1.4 cents on Gemini. AI Analyze Video and AI Video Generation are premium actions billed per run, and each reply on a shareable agent chat page is billed like an AI Agent run. Voice Intelligence has no charge beyond normal call transcription, and Email Domain Warm-Up is free during the beta. On Unlimited and above you can rebill usage to clients, and SaaS Usage Limits let you cap it.
Can Conversation AI text leads first now?
Yes, in Labs. Turn on Conversation AI, Outbound AI Agents under Settings, Labs. That one switch turns on both trigger-based outreach and AI Campaigns on the Contacts page. Outbound messages go over SMS, and the agent needs a sending number and SMS compliance confirmation first.
Is Workflows in MCP available to everyone?
Not yet. HighLevel lists it, and the Workflows API, as a private beta as of October 28, 2026.
