The best GoHighLevel alternatives in 2026 (and when I'd still pick HighLevel)
Heads up: the trial buttons on this page use my affiliate link. If you sign up through it I get a commission. It doesn't cost you more.
The best GoHighLevel alternative depends on what you actually need. HubSpot if you want the most established CRM and can pay for it, ClickFunnels if funnels are the whole business, Kajabi for courses and memberships, Systeme.io if you want the cheapest all-in-one (it has a free plan), and Vendasta if you're an agency that wants a marketplace of products to resell.
If you're an agency selling AI and automation to local businesses, I haven't found anything that replaces HighLevel, which is why my agency runs on it. Below is each alternative with its real price as of October 2026, where it beats HighLevel, and where it doesn't.
Quick picks / checked Oct 30, 2026
- For agencies selling to local businesses
- GoHighLevel, from $97/month ($297 for unlimited clients)
- Cheapest
- Systeme.io, free plan, paid from $17/month
- Most established CRM
- HubSpot, free CRM, paid from $10/seat/month
- Funnels only
- ClickFunnels, from $97/month
- Courses and memberships
- Kajabi, from $179/month
Short version
- 01Nothing else gives you unlimited client sub-accounts, white label, SMS, calls, AI agents and workflows for one flat $297 a month. That's the reason agencies stay on HighLevel.
- 02HubSpot starts free, but marketing automation at the Professional level is $890 a month plus a required $3,000 onboarding fee.
- 03Systeme.io is the cheapest real all-in-one. Good for one business selling courses or digital products, not built for managing clients.
- 04If you only need one thing (funnels, courses or email), a specialist tool can be simpler than HighLevel.

HubSpot: the most established CRM, priced like it
HubSpot's free CRM covers up to 2 users with no card needed, and Starter starts at $10 a month per seat (the page also lists $20 a seat, depending on how you're billed). The jump comes at Marketing Hub Professional: $890 a month with 3 seats included, plus a required one-time onboarding fee of $3,000.
Pick it if you're a company with a sales team that wants deep reporting and a huge integration ecosystem. Skip it if you're an agency: there's no sub-account per client and no white label, so you'd be buying seats for every client instead of one flat plan. When I started I listed HubSpot as one of the tools I didn't want to pay for separately, and HighLevel's pipeline covers what I need from a CRM. The full comparison is in GoHighLevel vs HubSpot.
ClickFunnels: if funnels are the whole business
ClickFunnels is $97 a month on Launch, $197 on Scale and $297 on Optimize, or about 16% less paid yearly ($81, $164 and $248 a month). There's also a Dominate plan at $5,997 a year.
It makes sense if you sell your own products through funnels and don't need texting, calls, a booking calendar per client, or AI agents. HighLevel's Starter plan is the same $97 and includes a funnel builder plus all of that, so for agency work I'd pick HighLevel (full comparison: vs ClickFunnels).
Kajabi: built for courses and memberships
Kajabi is $179 a month on Basic, $249 on Growth and $499 on Pro, or $143, $199 and $399 a month paid yearly. Card processing for US accounts is listed at 2.9% to 2.7% plus 30 cents depending on the plan.
If you're a creator whose whole business is a course and a community, Kajabi is designed around exactly that. HighLevel has memberships and courses too, but you'd pick HighLevel for client work and lead follow-up, not because it beats Kajabi at courses.
Systeme.io: the cheapest all-in-one, with a free plan
Systeme.io has a free plan that never expires: up to 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course and 1 blog, no card needed. Paid plans are $17 a month (Startup), $47 (Webinar) and $97 (Unlimited).
For one person selling a course or a digital product on a tight budget, it's hard to beat on price. It isn't built for running client accounts, and it doesn't have HighLevel's SMS, calling or AI agents, so it's a different tool for a different business. That's the honest answer to "Systeme.io vs GoHighLevel".
Vendasta: the closest agency alternative
Vendasta works differently. There's no flat subscription, you commit to a monthly minimum spend: $99 (Starter), $499 (Pro) or $999 (Premium), and what you spend on its products counts toward it. Extra seats are $30 a month each. It has a white label client portal and AI Employees for answering calls and getting reviews.
It's the most direct competitor for agencies, especially if you want a catalog of ready-made products to resell. The tradeoff is that your cost moves with what you resell, where HighLevel's $297 is the same for 5 clients or 50.
ActiveCampaign: if email is the whole job
ActiveCampaign plans start at $15 a month, with higher tiers starting at $49, $79 and $145 (Enterprise). Price goes up with your contact count.
If you only need email marketing and automation for one business, it's a focused, cheaper option. Once you need texting, calls, a calendar, a CRM pipeline and client accounts, you're back to stacking tools, which is the exact problem HighLevel solves.
When I'd still pick GoHighLevel
When you're selling to local businesses. One $297 plan gives you unlimited client sub-accounts, white label, a CRM pipeline, booking calendars, invoices and contracts, SMS and calls, websites and funnels, review management, workflows and AI agents. To match that with the tools above you'd be paying several subscriptions and syncing contacts between them by hand, which is what I was trying to avoid when I started.
The downsides are real: $297 is a lot with no clients, the first week is overwhelming, and texts, calls and AI are billed on usage on top. The full breakdown is on Pricing.

FAQ
What is the best alternative to GoHighLevel?
For agencies, Vendasta is the closest. For a single business it depends on the job: HubSpot for CRM, ClickFunnels for funnels, Kajabi for courses, ActiveCampaign for email, and Systeme.io if price is what you care about most.
Is there a free GoHighLevel alternative?
Systeme.io has a free plan with up to 2,000 contacts and 3 funnels, and HubSpot's free CRM covers up to 2 users. Neither offers client sub-accounts like HighLevel. HighLevel itself has no free plan, only a free trial (see 30-day free trial).
What's cheaper than GoHighLevel?
Systeme.io (free, or from $17 a month) and ActiveCampaign (from $15 a month) are cheaper, as is HubSpot's free CRM. They each cover part of what HighLevel does, not all of it.
Is Systeme.io better than GoHighLevel?
For a solo creator selling courses on a budget, Systeme.io is cheaper and simpler. For an agency managing clients, or anyone who needs SMS, calls and AI agents, GoHighLevel does far more.
What CRM do agencies use instead of HubSpot?
A lot of agencies use GoHighLevel because one plan covers unlimited client accounts with white label, where HubSpot is priced per seat with no client sub-accounts.
