GoHighLevel SaaS mode in 2026: what it is and why I stopped leading with it
Heads up: the trial buttons on this page use my affiliate link. If you sign up through it I get a commission. It doesn't cost you more.
SaaS mode is the part of GoHighLevel that lets you sell HighLevel as your own software. Clients buy a subscription on your website, an account gets created for them automatically with your branding, and you rebill their usage with your own markup. It's on the $497 plan, which HighLevel now calls Founder.
I've won HighLevel's Platinum SaaSpreneur award and the Diamond award twice for doing this (see GoHighLevel awards explained). And I'd still tell you not to lead with it in 2026. Walking into a business, demoing the CRM and walking out with a subscription worked a few years ago. It doesn't work like that anymore, and below is why, plus what I sell instead.
The video version
Short version
- 01SaaS mode is on the $497 Founder plan as of October 2026. It handles signups, account creation and rebilling with markup for you.
- 02Selling the CRM itself as the product got crowded. Everyone is offering the same white label software, so all anyone can compete on is price.
- 03I sell automated systems that solve a specific problem, built in HighLevel. The white label CRM comes with it as a bonus, not as the main thing.
- 04Don't buy the $497 plan just because SaaS mode sounds like the business model. Start on Unlimited.
What is GoHighLevel SaaS mode?
It turns HighLevel into software you sell under your own brand. You set your own plans and prices, people subscribe from your website, and HighLevel creates their account automatically, no manual setup from you. Then you rebill their usage, like texts, emails and WordPress hosting, with your own markup on top.
White label is part of the same idea. Your clients log into your domain with your logo and colors, and never see the HighLevel name. Mine is Hexona Systems. The setup is in White label guide.
As of October 2026, SaaS mode and rebilling with markup are on the $497 a month plan. The $297 Unlimited plan can rebill phone and email but only at cost.
Why I don't think you should lead with it
When I made my video on this in November 2024 there were over 50,000 HighLevel agencies, a lot of them selling basically the same white label CRM. If you studied economics, that's close to perfect competition. Everyone's product is the same, there are tons of sellers, anyone can start for $97 a month, and every feature is explained in a thousand YouTube videos. When everything is the same, the only thing left to compete on is price.
The other problem is how it gets sold. People walk in and pitch features: here's the social planner, here's the chatbot, here's the email builder. That only works if the owner already happens to want exactly those features, which is a coincidence. And the full HighLevel feature list is honestly overwhelming to a business owner. Their eyes glaze over.
What I sell instead
I sell outcomes. HighLevel isn't the product anymore, it's the tool I build the product with. I find out what's actually broken in the business, work backwards to a system that fixes it, then build that system in HighLevel.
One example from the video: a daycare client. Their problems were following up with leads, qualifying them and getting tours booked. So I built them an AI appointment setter and an automatic nurture sequence in HighLevel (the setter build is in Build an AI appointment setter). I never pitched them an all-in-one CRM. They don't care about the CRM, or Make, or Zapier, or APIs. They care whether something is talking to their leads and booking appointments.
The white label CRM still comes with it. I think of it as the complimentary dessert. The system is the main course and the reason they pay. That's also how you end up with a lot of active accounts on your white label without ever selling "software".
Do you need the $497 plan?
Not to start. You can white label and put unlimited clients on the $297 Unlimited plan, and rebill phone and email at cost. Move up to the $497 plan when you actually want self-serve signups and rebilling with your own markup.

FAQ
Which GoHighLevel plan has SaaS mode?
The $497 a month plan, called Founder on HighLevel's pricing page as of October 2026 (also called Pro or Agency Pro). Every plan is compared on Pricing.
Is GoHighLevel SaaS mode still worth it in 2026?
As a feature, yes, if you already have clients and want automated signups and rebilling with markup. As a business model where the CRM is the product, I don't think so. It's too crowded. Sell a system that solves a specific problem and include the CRM with it.
What's the difference between white label and SaaS mode?
White label puts your brand on the HighLevel app. SaaS mode adds the selling part: your own plans and prices, automatic account creation when someone subscribes, and rebilling usage with your markup.
