GoHighLevel Founder plan vs SaaS Pro: what actually changed

Heads up: the trial and plan buttons on this page use my affiliate links. If you sign up through one I get a commission. It doesn't cost you more.

The Founder plan and the SaaS Pro plan are the same $497 a month HighLevel plan. It was called SaaS Pro, then Agency Pro, and HighLevel renamed it Founder in October 2026. SaaS mode, rebilling with markup, unlimited sub-accounts and advanced API access all carried over, and Founder adds new Founder-only features and perks at the same price.

So if you're on SaaS Pro or Agency Pro, you're already on Founder and don't need to do anything. If you're deciding which to buy, there's nothing to choose between. The real decision is Founder at $497 or Unlimited at $297, and that's what most of this page is about.

Short version

  • 01SaaS Pro, Agency Pro, Pro and Founder are all names for HighLevel's $497 plan. Founder is the current one.
  • 02HighLevel calls Founder "the new name for the $497/month Agency Pro Plan" and kept the price.
  • 03Everything SaaS Pro was known for is still there: SaaS mode and rebilling usage with your own markup.
  • 04Founder adds features and perks you only get on this plan, and HighLevel says existing customers get them automatically.
  • 05The real choice is Founder ($497) vs Unlimited ($297). White label is on both. SaaS mode and markup are Founder only.

Why the $497 plan has so many names

HighLevel has renamed its top self-serve plan a few times. It was sold as SaaS Pro because SaaS mode was the headline feature, then it became Agency Pro, and in October 2026 HighLevel renamed it Founder. HighLevel's help article on Founder was updated on Oct 27, 2026, the week of LevelUp 2026 in Dallas.

The old names haven't fully gone away. HighLevel's own pricing FAQ still says Pro in places, and its Pro trial page is still titled "HighLevel Pro SaaS Plan Trial". You'll also hear SaaS Pro and Agency Pro in older YouTube videos. They all mean the same $497 plan.

What changed from SaaS Pro to Founder

The price didn't change, and nothing was taken away. HighLevel's help article says Founder "retains the existing Agency Pro capabilities along with all features of the $97 and $297 plans while introducing additional tools, products, and opportunities". It also confirms unlimited sub-accounts and advanced API access are included.

HighLevel doesn't publish a list of exactly which Founder-only features were already in Agency Pro and which arrived with the rename, so the table below sticks to what HighLevel confirms.

What's Founder-only now

HighLevel's Founder page lists these features as exclusive to Founder: SaaS mode, rebilling with markup, advanced API access, HighLevel Industries, custom navs, Workflow Maps, project management, ticketing, meeting rooms, events, loyalty and rewards, user reports and the A2P console, with custom onboarding and an email health console coming soon.

The perks are the Founders Club, the HighLevel Partner Network, a Founder Support Plan, discounted event tickets, meetups at HighLevel's Dallas and Dubai offices, and two programs HighLevel says Founders will be eligible for: AdFuel (free local ads for your business) and commissions on payments through its new native payment provider. Each one is explained on Founder plan ($497).

I'm on SaaS Pro or Agency Pro. What do I need to do?

Nothing. HighLevel's help article says existing customers on the $497 Agency Pro plan move to Founder automatically, with no action needed to get the new benefits as they become available. Your price stays $497.

One thing to know: if you ever downgrade from Founder, you lose the Founder-only features, including SaaS mode and rebilling with markup.

The real choice: Founder ($497) or Unlimited ($297)

A lot of people searching "SaaS plan" really mean white label, and that's on Unlimited too. On the $297 plan you get unlimited sub-accounts and the white label, so clients log in on your domain with your logo. You can rebill phone and email at cost. What you don't get is SaaS mode (people signing up to your own plans and getting an account automatically) or rebilling usage with your own markup.

My take hasn't changed with the rename. I'm on the $497 plan because Hexona Systems runs as white label software. But I don't think leading with SaaS mode works for beginners anymore. When everyone sells the same white label CRM, all you can compete on is price, so I sell automated systems that fix a specific problem and the CRM comes with it. The full reasoning is on SaaS mode guide.

So: start on Unlimited if you're landing your first clients. Go to Founder when you'll actually use SaaS mode or markup on usage, or when you want the Founders Club and the Partner Network.
